Field of use

    • Notice:
      • In the event of serious diarrhea, especially if you go hand in hand with fever and/or bloody chairs, a doctor must be visited because specific treatment may be necessary.

Contradictions

May not be taken if they are hypersensitive (allergic) against tanninal buminate (contains chicken egg white), ethacridinlactate monohydrate or one of the other components of the medicine.

dosage

Always take the medicine exactly according to the instruction in the package insert. Please ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not quite sure. The dose and the frequency of the gift depend on the severity of diarrhea. Unless otherwise prescribed, the usual dose is:
Children 5-14 years: 1 film-coated tablet 3 to 4 times daily growth: 1-2 film-coated tablets 4 times a day for prevention: 1 film-coated tablet twice a day
In children and older people, diarrhea, especially in combination with vomiting, can lead to dangerous water and electrolyte loss in a very short time. Therefore, care must be taken to ensure that water and electrolytes are adequately replaced. Duration of treatment: The medicine should be taken regularly until the diarrhea subsides. Do not take the medicine without a medical advice for more than 3-4 days. Please speak to your doctor or pharmacist if you have the impression that the effect is too strong or too weak. Overdose: The medicine does not lead to constipation even when overdosed. Serious health disorders as a result of overdose are not yet known. Forgotten intake: do not take the double dose if you have forgotten the prior intake, but continue taking, as described in the dosage instructions. Complaints come. If you have any further questions about the application of the drug, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
  

Taking

The film -coated tablets are taken with enough liquid before or for meals. If necessary, you can also shred the film -coated tablets and mix with food or drinks.

Pregnancy

Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking/using all drugs. During pregnancy, especially in the first three months, and during breastfeeding the medicine should only be taken on the express instruction of the doctor.

Miscellaneous

- The intestinal contents can take a yellowish color after taking the drugi will vomit - lead to dangerous water and electrolyte loss in no time. This must be taken into account with regard to adequate additional treatment .- The effect of the drug is supported by diet. Slack -rich and heavily spiced food should be avoided.
