I've had type 1 diabetes for 54 years. Due to diabetic polyneuropathy—especially affecting my heart—I received Thioctacid T600 infusions twice a week for over 14 years and subsequently had no further complications or symptoms.Then my health insurance stopped covering the medication.Now my eyesight has deteriorated drastically, I have diabetic macular edema, and for the past year I've been undergoing intensive treatment—laser therapy, injections, surgery—with no improvement.My polyneuropathy has worsened, particularly affecting my heart.As a last resort, I bought the 10-pack of T600 ampoules, and after the first five infusions, once a day, my heart palpitations and tingling in my hands and feet disappeared. My eyes, after an examination today, are suddenly completely healed.I can see and read clearly again.Therefore, I will continue to buy this alpha-lipoic acid myself and have my family doctor administer it as a maintenance infusion twice a week.
