Patient information
Special care in the application is required
- In the case of severe sore throat or sore throat, which are associated with high fever, headache, nausea or vomiting. To avoid complications, the drug must not be used for more than 2 days without medical advice.
- Local anesthetics can affect swallowing and increase the risk of swallowing, especially for younger children.
- Eating or drinking immediately after using the tablets should be avoided. The deaf feeling of tongue and oral mucosa can increase the risk of bite injuries.
- Repeated use can lead to a feeling of numbness of the neck and thus to difficulty swallowing.
- In patients with serious injuries and/or inflammation of the oral and throat mucosa, since the absorption of the active ingredient can be increased. This applies in particular to patients with cardiovascular disorders or a tendency to seize.
- In a well -known allergy to other local anesthetics from the amid type, since a cross allergy against lidocainhydrochloride, the active ingredient of the drug, is expected.
- In patients with restricted liver and/or kidney function, since these circumstances can lead to increased concentration of active ingredients in the blood.
- Children and adolescents:
Children under the age of 12 must not apply the medicine. There is not enough information about effectiveness and tolerance for use in children and adolescents from 12 to 17 years.
- Driving and operating machines: no special precautionary measures are required.
- Store drug out of reach of children.
Pregnancy
- Pregnancy: During pregnancy, the medicine may only be applied during pregnancy if the indication and after consultation with your doctor. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking all drugs.
