The hormone -free Vagisan wet cream is in contrast to a purely water -based preparation (most Gele)) a cream. The Vagisan wet cream also has a nourishing fat content in addition to a high water content.

The white, smooth cream of Vagisan supplies the dry vagina with moisture and nourishing lipids and relieves the symptoms caused by vaginal dryness such as: B. Dry feeling, burning, itching or vaginal pain. By adding lactic acid, the wet cream is set to a pH of 4.5 - with this supports Vagisan Wet cream the preservation of a natural acid value (pH value) in the vagina.

This vaginal cream is free of hormones (estrogens) and can therefore also be used together with a systemic hormone replacement therapy (e.g. tablets, transdermal pavement) or alternating with hormone (estrogen) containing vaginal creams or suppositories. The wet cream is free of fragrances.

The regular use of Vagisan wet cream can help prevent irritation, inflammation and pain in the vagina and the external intimate area due to vaginal dryness.

Vagisan wet cream can be applied before intimate traffic (as a lubricant), especially in the event of pain during sexual intercourse. The intimate cream does not affect sperm mobility and can therefore also be used if you want to have children.

Vaginal dryness particularly affects women in or after menopause, but younger women can also be affected by a dry vagina. Often an estrogen deficiency (in menopause and afterwards) is the reason for a dry sheath, but hormone fluctuations or stress can also be a cause. After my last pregnancy, in my mid-30s, I increasingly experienced a feeling of dryness.This moisturizing cream was ideal; it's easy to apply and doesn't take long to dry, so I can quickly get dressed again.It doesn't cause any burning sensation, making it perfect for use throughout the day.For a more intensive effect, a small amount can be taken internally in the evening using the applicator.

Since menopause, I've suffered greatly from dry and sensitive skin and pain during intercourse. I also frequently had urinary tract infections after sex.Since using Vagisan cream, my skin feels pleasantly moisturized and supple again.I usually apply the cream once a day after showering to care for my external intimate area;a pea-sized amount is perfectly sufficient.Before intercourse, I usually insert a little more cream with the applicator, as recommended in the package insert.Since I've been doing this, I haven't had any more urinary tract infections. Since the cream is actually too expensive for me, I've also tried other products (creams, foams, lubricants), but I didn't get on well with any of them.Some products left a sticky feeling, burned, smelled unpleasant, or dried out my skin even more, so I had to reapply more and more often.I can recommend this cream to all women with similar problems.

Due to menopause, I experience periods of vaginal dryness.I have fewer problems in spring and summer than in autumn or winter.Using the moisturizing cream for 3-4 days usually quickly restores the moisture balance.The cream is economical and can be used sparingly.I haven't noticed any side effects so far.
