I chose these capsules because zinc gluconate contains highly bioavailable zinc. I also liked the mixture and often had the feeling that a cold wouldn't even catch on if I filled my vitamin stores with it the first time I scratched my throat.

I used to have to take Vit. D in addition to my Vit. C + zinc tablets. Finally it's available in ONE capsule! Plus with L-histidine for better zinc absorption. Best combination I know!
