I had the opportunity to try a pack of Vitasprint Pro Immun drinking vials as part of a product test.The pack contains eight small vials, enough for eight days.A type of powder is released by turning the cap of the vial clockwise (as if you were closing a bottle).This opens a small reservoir at the top of the cap, from which the powder then trickles into the liquid.Simply shake the vial, unscrew the cap counter-clockwise, and drink the contents.Handling: While releasing the powder by turning the cap clockwise worked for me, I'm sure my parents (79 and 82 years old) wouldn't be able to manage it.Firstly, because the cap is so small, and secondly, because it requires quite a bit of force (even I, at a fit 48, had to exert considerable force).Older people often have problems with their hands and can no longer grip small objects firmly.Therefore, it's certainly not suitable for older people with these issues.Taste: very sweet, like orange with a hint of ginger, and a very (!) slight spiciness.Actually quite pleasant, but very sweet indeed.Effect: barely noticeable.I tested the product when I wasn't sick and didn't feel a cold coming on.So I can't say whether the immune system actually responds to it as soon as there's "imminent danger."What I can say, however, is that I felt quite fit and alert while taking it.My hay fever, usually quite severe, wasn't as pronounced—whether that was due to Vitasprint or the lack of pollen or only a light pollen count?I have no idea.Allergies are always directly related to the immune system, after all.So... who knows?!Conclusion: an okay-tasting immune booster with a mechanism that could be improved and, for me personally, an effect that I can't really assess at the moment.I'll probably try it again as soon as a cold starts to come on and then we'll see.
