Instructions for Use

The total dose should not be exceeded without consulting a doctor or pharmacist.

How should it be used?
Apply the medicine to the affected area(s) of skin. Then massage the medicine in. The affected area can be covered with a non-airtight bandage. Wash your hands thoroughly after use. Avoid accidental contact with mucous membranes, eyes, and open skin.

Duration of Use?
The duration of use depends on the nature of the symptoms and/or the course of the disease. Adolescents should consult a doctor if they require the medicine for pain relief for more than 7 days or if their symptoms worsen.

Overdose?
If the medicine is used as directed, no symptoms of overdose are known. If in doubt, consult your doctor.

In general, pay careful attention to the dosage, especially for infants, small children, and the elderly. If in doubt, ask your doctor or pharmacist about any side effects or precautions.

How does the active ingredient in the medicine work?

The active ingredient has analgesic, antipyretic, and anti-inflammatory effects. The drug also has antirheumatic properties. It blocks the production of certain neurotransmitters in the body, so-called prostaglandins. These play a key role in the development of pain, fever, and inflammation.

Allow the gel to dry on the skin for a few minutes before applying a bandage. Wait until the gel has dried before showering or bathing. Voltaren Actigo Pain Gel has a non-greasy formulation and is easy to rub into the skin. Unlike an ointment, it combines the properties of a cream with the cooling effect of a gel. The proven composition of Voltaren Pain Gels with diclofenac has a shelf life of up to 36 months after opening. Use and dispose of medicines responsibly. How to use:
