Field of use

Effective relief for lighter & stronger cold symptoms, for a relaxing sleep despite the flu infection - from 12 years.

Effective relief of 6 cold symptoms, without alcohol, from 12 years.

In the event of colds, Wick Medinait with anis taste through symptom relief contributes to a more relaxing sleep. The cold syrup for alleviating several symptoms was specially developed without alcohol in order to alleviate cold complaints overnight in adults and adolescents from the age of 12 and thus ensure a more relaxing sleep. Wick Medinait helps with common cold complaints. Effective relief of unpleasant symptoms of a cold: headache, body aches, sore throat, fever, Schpay and irritant cough.

A single dose (30 ml) taken shortly before going to bed relieves 6 symptoms of a cold or a flu infection while you sleep.

Suitable for use in adults and adolescents from the age of 12. The medicine should not be used for more than 3 days without medical advice.

Contradictions

• The medicine must not be taken,
  • if you are allergic to paracetamol, dextrometorphanhydrobromide, doxylaminsuccinate or one of the other components.
  • in asthma, chronic obstructive respiratory disease, pneumonia, breathing (respiratory depression), inadequate breathing activity (respiratory insufficiency);
  • with green star (increased intraocular pressure);
  • in the case of pre-existing liver/kidney damage (also due to alcohol abuse), severe liver and kidney dysfunction, adjacent tumor (Phäochromocytom);
  • if the prostate gland is enlarged with residual urine formation and considerable impairment when urinating;
  • in the case of seizure disorders (epilepsy), brain damage.
  • during pregnancy and lactation
  • if treatment with certain antidepressants (Mao-inhibitors or SSRIs) or up to two weeks ago;
  • of children under the age of 12;
  • if not all of the active ingredients mentioned are required in the event of a cold or flu infection.

dosage

• Always take this medicine exactly after consultation with your doctor or pharmacist.
• Ask your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• The recommended dose is
  • Adults and adolescents from the age of 12 take 30 ml a day (according to the marking of the measuring cup) in the evening before going to bed.

 

• If you have taken a larger amount than you should
  • Exceeding the recommended dose can lead to very severe liver damage, especially when the use of other paracetamol of containable medicines.
  • When taking the following quantities of paracetamol, a doctor should therefore be notified immediately:
    • More than 2.5 g with body weight of 30 - 50 kg
    • More than 3.5 g with body weight of 51 - 65 kg
    • More than 4.5 g in body weight over 65 kg

Taking

• Warnings and Precautions
  • Please speak to your doctor or pharmacists before taking this medicine when they suffer from one of the following diseases:
    • Gilbert syndrome
    • inadequate closure of the stomach input with backflow of food into the esophagus (reflux)
    • Deliberation of the heart and high blood pressure
  • In the event of a cough with considerable mucus formation and persistent cough (e.g. from smoking or pathological lung changes), only take special care in consultation and on the doctor's instructions, because under these circumstances a suppression of cough can be undesirable.
  • Please note that this medicine can lead to mental and physical dependence. In patients who are prone to drug abuse or drug addiction, treatment with this preparation must therefore be carried out at short notice and under the strictest medical control.
  • If your symptoms worsen or no improvement occurs after 3 days or with a high fever, you have to see a doctor.
  • In order to prevent the risk of overdose, it should be ensured that other medicines that are used at the same time do not contain any paracetamol.

 

• Wateriness and operating machines
  • This drug can also lead to tiredness in the event of intended use and thereby change the reaction so far that the ability to actively participate in road traffic or to operate machines is affected. This applies to an increased degree of interaction with alcohol or medication, which in turn can affect reaction capacity.

Pregnancy

• If you are pregnant or breastfeed, or if you suspect that you are pregnant or intend to become pregnant, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this drug.
• The medicine must not be taken during pregnancy and lactation.
